About the role
Do you have a passion for managing and promoting volunteering and improving health outcomes for the community? If the answer is yes, then this could be the role for you.
You will be part of the Library Development Team, helping to shape the future of the service and reporting directly to the Library Development Manager and the wider Library Leadership Team. Your focus will be managing an award-winning team to lead on the planning, development and delivery of volunteering and targeted health projects within Cambridgeshire Libraries.
This is a hybrid role (the location of Cambridge Central Library is nominal). You will be able to work flexibly, working from diverse locations, including home. There is an expectation that you will travel to locations across the county, as required.
The current post holder is on secondment. This is a fixed term, part-time post until 2nd November 2027. The working hours are 18.5 hours per week.

About you
This part-time post will suit a self-motivated, organised, flexible individual with experience of developing volunteers.
You will need to work flexibly with a requirement for some weekend and evening working as required. The ability to travel around the county is essential.
