Overview

Henley House is a forward-thinking, exceptional children’s home committed to achieving the very best outcomes for the young people in our care. Our home is built around a dedicated team of passionate, skilled, and compassionate staff who embrace innovative approaches and take personal responsibility for driving positive change.

What truly sets Henley House apart is our culture of openness, honesty, and mutual respect. Communication is transparent and heartfelt — every voice is heard and valued. This creates an environment where staff feel empowered and supported, and where trust forms the foundation of every relationship with the young people in our care.

Above all, Henley House feels like a real home. It’s a nurturing, loving environment where young people feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for — a place that feels more like a family than a facility. Every member of our team brings their heart, skill, and expertise to their role each day, helping our young people not just to live, but to thrive.

As a Flexi bank/Support Worker, you will be part of a passionate and supportive team, providing consistent, nurturing care to young people with a range of emotional, social, and developmental needs. No two days are the same — from supporting daily routines and education, to outdoor activities and personal growth, your role will have a direct, positive impact on the lives of the young people in your care.

You’ll help create a safe, warm, and stimulating environment, building trust and strong relationships while supporting young people to develop resilience, independence, and confidence.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, social workers, and other professionals
  • Undertake sleep-in shifts and flexible working hours to meet the needs of the home
  • Identify and report risks, safeguarding concerns, and opportunities for improvement
