The Central Space, Range and Display Senior Manager plays a key role within the function, the role leads all midi and macro space recommendations, all range deployment recommendations across Food, as well as leading the General Merchandise Modular Planning team.
This team lead implementation of the merchandising strategy for Food, to drive the ‘End to End’’ business strategy through range optimisation and ensuring a best-in-class customer propositions.
Key Responsibilities:
You will work collaboratively by category to deliver a proposal that delivers the right space by store for our customers, maximising sales and optimising the space in stores, providing insight on space performance. Working collaboratively with the modular planning analysts and buying teams to ensure all elements of the commercial strategy are factored into these proposals and applying insight from seasonality, trends, and our customer insight to ensure the space is future focused. You will engage at all levels to deliver this midi space strategy.
Managing the space to drive sales by:

Providing analytic insight to drive the categories midi space to maximise sales

Providing space insight to categories to drive range increases and decrease to gain optimum results

Running category, store specific/cluster level data and cleanse data
-
Running Engagement sessions with categories across all reporting levels

Reviewing Floorplans for Remodels

Supporting in the interpretation of space data

Input accurate and timely information throughout the space process

Develop the technical ability of the categories supported
