You will take on a leading role to understand in detail how each store is performing and build recommendations to drive performance. You will have at least two direct reports that are focused on category space and range analytics to inform and make store specific recommendations, aligned to the mission. You will provide insight to the commercial express and mod planning team to enable the right range deployment decisions and space recommendations. You will work closely with store planning and floor-planning teams to ensure critical path timings are clear and adhered to.
As manager you will be responsible for setting clear performance indicators to the team and ensure teams are clear on expectations and motivated on the deliverables.
You Will:
· Build strong working relationships with Commercial, Supply Chain teams, Customer and Data Insights teams to support informing decision making when building recommendations.
· Build easy access express analytics for space and range to support and inform decision making. Use demographics, store format information and price sensitivity reports where its available to add an additional level of data analyse to all recommendations, where this is not available have a route to make decisions.
· Lead on ad hoc range and space deployment requests. Including store queries, availability review, or inventory queries and make recommendations that aligns to overall strategy, and handover to modular planning for deployment.
· Work within the critical path timings and ensure no late handovers and manage the workload of the team to ensure they are aligning to this also.
· Clear and confident presentations to relevant stakeholders which provide clear plan on space and range recommendations and build trust and confidence.
· Keep up to date with ranging insights, market trends, latest training and software upgrades to deliver ranging and space recommendations in-line with business strategy.
· Identify potential talent and ensure talent collaboration complete in line with process. Ensure quarterly CPI conversations are complete.
