Ecology – Nurturing Nature, Sustaining Life
Do you have a passion for ecology and would like to be at the forefront of innovative nature-based improvement projects? Our Ecology Team ensures that everyone in the county continues to live in a nature-rich, high-quality, sustainable environment.
Our Ecologists focus on biodiversity and the natural environment and are committed to protecting and restoring Wiltshire’s precious wildlife, including nationally important chalk grassland and chalk streams. Working with colleagues and local stakeholders, we help deliver well-placed and well-designed growth that meets the needs of people, nature, and climate. We have just published our Local Nature Recovery Strategy and are helping to deliver exciting nature recovery projects, improving access to the countryside for communities, and protecting and enhancing our most important wildlife places.
We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual who can collaborate effectively and solve problems using innovative solutions. Bring your communication and interpersonal skills to help us achieve our wildlife and community goals and be at the forefront of new thinking!
