Salary: £40,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:30, 40 hours per week
Location: 25 North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5HS
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of a high-volume catering site, ensuring smooth service delivery for approximately 1,000 covers per day, maintaining service standards, and ensuring all operational processes run efficiently across kitchen, front-of-house, and retail areas.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations, conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and training to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Manage, motivate, and develop a team of 27 staff, including recruitment, training, rotas, performance management, and fostering a positive, high-performance working culture.
- Control budgets, monitor costs, and drive profitability through effective stock management, labour control, and financial reporting, ensuring the site meets agreed financial targets.
- Oversee all retail operations, ensuring product availability, merchandising, and high service standards, while continuously improving the customer experience to drive repeat business and satisfaction.
- Lead local marketing initiatives and promotions to increase footfall and revenue, using promotional campaigns, upselling strategies, and customer engagement to grow the business.
