About the role
We’re currently recruiting a Baker to join M&S on a part time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7.
You’ll fill the counter with freshly baked goods every day, bringing skill, care and a love of great baking to everything you make.
What you’ll do
- Baking fresh bread, pastries and cakes to recipe and to a high standard
- Making sure the counter is well stocked and beautifully presented
- Managing stock and keeping waste to a minimum
- Keeping the bakery clean, tidy and safe
- Following Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures at all times

About you
Our ideal Baker will:
- Have a passion for great baking
- Have experience in a similar baking role
- Have a good eye for presentation
- Be organised and able to work to a schedule
- Hold a Food Hygiene certificate, or be willing to gain one
