About the role:

We’re looking for a passionate, customer-focused, and detail-driven Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing team and help shape how customers engage with Asda Mobile and Asda Money. This role is all about putting the customer first – crafting thoughtful, engaging, and insight-led communications across multiple touchpoints.

You’ll lead the delivery of best-in-class CRM campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications), onboarding journeys, and physical assets such as SIM wallets and gift cards. Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, you’ll ensure every message is clear, compelling, and aligned with our customer-first approach.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute CRM communications including emails, SMS, and push notifications
  • Own welcome communications to ensure a seamless onboarding experience across products
  • Collaborate on the design and messaging of physical assets (e.g. SIM wallets, gift cards)
  • Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy across multiple channels, including web pages, landing pages, and product descriptions
  • Create and optimise SEO-friendly content to improve organic visibility and support customer acquisition
  • Use customer insights and data to inform and optimise communications
  • Benchmark against market leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines with precision and agility
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across marketing, commercial, and operations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Exceptional copywriting skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering value through communication
  • Ability to interpret insights and translate them into actionable messaging strategies
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing stakeholder relationships
  • A proactive learner who seeks out best practices and industry trends
  • Experience in CRM platforms and campaign execution is a plus.
